My first Design Collection began on 10 September 2011 with a discussion of two questions that would recur throughout the course: What is design? And what does it mean to collect and to call yourself a collector?

Copy/Culture Symposium

Milan's annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile opens on 17 April. Premsela will host a range of events: the Spring exhibition, the Milan Breakfasts, a cocktail hour and a mini-symposium organised with the Vitra Design Museum.

The Rotterdam Design Prize competition took place in 2011 and 2012 for the 11th time. Between November and February, we helped to coordinate the Premsela Public Prize and a series of meetings for professionals and laypeople.

Premsela Forums

The designers Jurgen Bey and Naoto Fukusawa discussed the social value of their profession in Tokyo in 2009 at the first Premsela Forum outside Europe. The Premsela Forums foster relevant discussions about design and fashion in the Netherlands and around the world.
